Kuala Terengganu~ 24th-25th June~

Its a nice day  on 24th June. As planned, a total of 6 people of us had departed at 7.30am, started our journey to the neighbour state of Kelantan - Terengganu. It might as well our graduation trip and the last time for me to travel around east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Well, let the photos tell the story of this state.

 Kuala Terengganu China Town

Madam Bee's Kitchen- located in China Town.
It is one of the recommended restaurant by tourist.
For me, the foods are not very good. But you can find variety of local foods there.
Not bad to have a try.
1. Rojak Ceranang
2. Laksa Terengganu
3. Terengganu Loh Mee
4. Nasi Lemak MBK

The specialty of the rojak is that steam fish cracker mix with taugeh, cucumber, sengkuang and long bean. The gravy is just normal rojak gravy but a bit sour. However, quite disappointed with the steam fish cracker because it is not fresh and contain much of flour.
Laksa Terengganu is quite good. The laksa is the commersial laksa noodle. It is different from other state's laksa because the gravy is made up of fish in cononut milk.
Terengganu Loh Mee is also quite good. The gravy is not as dark as Loh Mee in other states.
The nasi lemak is different in term of the curry chicken instead of fried chicken. But disappointed as the sambal is not delicious.

Well, there are a lot of other delicacies in Madam Bee's Kitchen: nasi kerabu, peranakan nasi kunyit, mee hoon Siam, mee Jawa, bubur lambuk, pulut leper, etc... May be it would be your favorite, so you may give it a try.

Turtle Alley - also located in China Town.
It is actually a narrow alley between two houses.
It has introduce different species of turtle.

Payang Memory Lane- located in China Town.
Its another narrow alley there.

Pasar Payang- located at the end of China Town.
Here, we can see turtle eggs are illegally sold in almost every stall in wet market.
How pitiful is the turtle egg. This is why turtle is going to extinct.
Anyway, this is my first time to see the real turtle egg. It is really look alike as ping pong ball.
The bus is city bus. It special design can only be seen in Terengganu.

This is somewhere behind the China Town. It is known as Pulau warisan Kuala Terengganu.
I wonder why it was named as "pulau".
Its like I-City, attracts tourist with the colorful trees.
The trees will be all light on at 7.30pm.

Istana Maziah and the fort - located near China Town
The palace is not allowed to enter. So, we can only have a look at outside.
The fort is on Bukit Puteri, just beside the palace.
The fort is where cannon located, used by England when they colonized Terengganu in the past.
From here, they can observed the sea and alert them with the entry of Japan.

Muzeum Negeri

The entry fee is RM5 for adult.
However, it worth because the muzeum is very large and there are a lot of things to see.
The muzeum is divided into block A, B, C and D.
It take around 1 hour to visit the whole muzeum by just walk through.
If you want to visit thoroughly, it may take longer time.
The model of houses are located outside the muzeum.
You may take the so called "train" or "kereta api" on the road to visit so that you do not need to walk under the sun. The "kereta api" is RM2 per trip per person.

NO MORE EXAM

Hooray...!Its the end of the journey for my Bachelor Degree of Health Science (Dietetics). Its ended with practical exam in Ward 2D (ICU ward). For most people, I am sure that they will be very excited to welcome this moment. Some will feel that its the end of their tough life, because no more exam, no more boring lecture, no more assignment, no more stress, etc......Some will feel that its the beginning of their next journey, they are welcoming the new life of work, the felling of become adult finally, no more student......

For me, what has first come across my mind is "blank". I am like a miserable sweep, does not know what I should do now. I have no goal, I have no mission to achieve, I have no reason for taking up the note and read, I have no motivation to use my time wisely....I am totally loss.

Just after the last exam, I feel sad and worry as I fell that I did not performed well in the exam. I still like a blur student and not a well prepared future dietitian. I am worry I am not perfect, I am worry I am not qualified, I am worry I am as stupid as before, I am worry of nothing. I wish I can do the best for the last paper and I wish I can end it with confident in myself. But the thing is not turn out as what I wish. I become more doubt of my knowledge, skills and qualification as a dietitian, as a graduate student.

How I wish that I am given another chance to start from the beginning, or given another chance to learn more, to compensate for the lacking. The happiness of graduate soon does not come across my mind, I am reject to be graduated in mind. I don't like this feeling. I feel my life will become meaningless. I have no direction to go.

Now, I make myself a to-do-list. Hope that this will motivate me to move forward and to grow mature.

SERIOUS
1. Search for job
2. Write resume and cover letter
3. Reset goal
4. Tidy up my mind
5. Read motivation book

LEISURE
1. Travel around KB again
2. Travel around Kuala Terengganu
3. Movie/drama marathon before going serious
4. Tidy up my thing
5. Say thank you and apologize to the people around me (failed)
6. Think for new image
     - dye my hair
     - make up and skin care
     - buy a new suit of formal
7. Start exercise

DREAM. FRIEND. ENVY

So envy when saw my friend's photo. She is a lawyer. Though today is her first time wearing lawyer suit to attend court. Peoples are proud for her, she look very gorgeous. She is my primary school classmate. I happen to have similar good result as her. But the UPSR result reveal the truth that she is much more clever and smart than me. Everyone like her.

Hmmm....Will I obtain same success like her? May be I am jealous, but if think positively, it would become energy to push me toward a better life, may be...

Anyway, congratulation, friend! I am also proud of you and I can tell the world that I have a lawyer friend. Well, I am also hoping my friends will proud of me and tell the world that they have a dietitian friend.

To achieve this, the first thing is no more day dream. My dream now is proudly stand at the convocation stage and proudly call myself as a good DIETITAN!

Final Exam

Well, its already 2 months since my last blog. I have been very busy for the past 1 month because I have intensive class with the subject call "Nutrition and Dietetics Seminar". What I have done in past 1 month was *attend class (9am-5pm almost everyday)-eat-bath-assignment-sleep*. The cycle had repeat everyday and I was in a very frustrated and stressful period for almost 3 weeks just because of that subject. Now, it was past but the new challenge come. It is FINAL EXAM.

Just 4 more days and I have to sit for the last exam in my university life. Well, seeing me blogging now means that I am not ready for doing revision. Or in other words, I do not know what to read, there is too much to cover up if I really want to have a good revision, but when thinking of just 2 question, I am thinking that it is worth after I revise all the notes and MNT but end up no related with the exam question. Just like Viva last week, I have revised the Viva  supplement book, but end up with question that I never prepare for it. Even a very simple question also I failed to answer.

Anyway, I have made up my mind to start the revision after this blogging. I don't want to regret the other day. I will feel better if I fail to do it well after I have do my best and I have done for it. And I believe that every workout sure will pay off with something SWEET.

My first ever plain milk in my life after 4 y'o

It was surprising that I can drink plain milk! Suddenly I was very desperate to buy plain milk to drink yesterday. May be I should thank to the breakfast cereal that I tried few day ago. It taste good when eating with milk. So I decided to have a try on my own.

I walked into 99 Speedmart and stop at the milk department very long time to choose the most acceptable plain milk. Finally I choose Dutch Lady low fat milk. While paying money, I am still thinking of take it back and just forget about it because I am afraid that I can't accept and will throw it. What a waste if i do that. However, I bought it.

I am first trying with the cereal together. Well, I can accept it well, the taste was not as bad as I though. After that, I tried to drink the milk without adding cereal. I am so proud of myself as the feeling of "good" has came across my mind for a while. I drank it! Well, it taste bland as no sugar added, but fortunately not very milky taste, just like Dutch Lady plain yogurt.

I am actually stop drinking milk after 4 years old. May be I am not hating milk as well as I though. All because of influence from my sister. She's the one that saying the milk taste weird and don't want to drink. Since young, I am always following her attitude. So, I am also refused to drink milk. The though change when I am studying in university where my study exposed me to the benefit of drinking milk. So, I start to take milk but must added with Milo to shield the milky taste.

But now, I can already accept the taste of plain milk. Bravo!

I-City Shah Alam ~ Snowalk Part 2

When first step into the cold room, we feel just nice as quite hot outside. Haha, now photo shooting started.

This is where visitor can slide down

It's freaking cold inside. Even the face, the ear end the hand are become stiffness. Now I know why people need to wear ear lobe during winter. The ear would be very pain until you shall worry it will fell down. The hands are stiff. I have to tried many times to take out from the pocket to hold the camera. So, guys, remember to bring your own ear lobe and glove if you dun want to buy it over there with an expensive price.

Lastly, I want to talk about the car entrance fee. Well, I must say that they are very brilliant in earning money.  The parking fee is RM2 per hour before 6pm (weekend and holiday), but once the car is still there after 7pm, RM10 extra will be charged. So, total up we pay for RM12 as the parking fee. However, if you leave before 7pm, you will not able to see the light because they are switch on after 7pm.

Anyway, it is a nice place to go for a relaxation. So, just grab the chance to have a look there. =)

I-City Shah Alam ~ Snowalk Part 1

It's been a long time I haven't update this blog.

Well, as a summary of my activities in the past few month:
Mid of January ~ busy with house keeping as the preparation for Chinese New Year
Beginning of February ~ busy with preparing for practical in HTAR
Mid of February ~ Chinese New Year (quite sad as no sweet photo taken due to my ugly hair)
After CNY till now ~ busy with practical in HTAR
Busy busy busy~~~

Finally, there is something relaxing I can share here today.

Sis called up last few day and said that she would come over to find me this weekend. Wow, I am so glad that I can meet up with her after one and half month since CNY. We plan to go I-City which is the main purpose of her to come here. I am very happy as I have the opportunity to go out somewhere in Selangor. Otherwise, I will just travel back and forth between rented house and HTAR.

Well, the story begin from the moment my sis finally found my rented house after she tried many time asking the local people for the way to come here from Seremban. After I jump onto her car, we are heading to the Setia City Mall which is located not far from my rented house. Luckily we can find the way to the mall quite easy with the help of the GPS ( not Garmin, but the one she installed in her phone). Almost 3 o'clock that time and we spend about 1 hour to shop in the mall. Nothing to buy after visiting a few boutique. Lastly we came to Urbanfresh market place where I found my favorite bread (Gardenia Multi Grain and Seeds) and successfully hunted a packet of sugar-free cookies with quite expensive price (RM7.90).

It's 4.15pm, we are heading to I-City now. There was raining outside. We are quite worry if we cannot walk in the I-City for viewing the beautiful light later. Hmmm...anyway, we are taking our step to the I-City, at least we can go for Snowalk. We are initially plan for eating "bak kut teh" before entering the I-City. Unfortunately, there is no restaurant selling "bak kut teh" along the way to I-City. Finally, we take the decision to eat after entering I-City. Hmmm, quite disappointed when we just saw KFC and Kenny Rogers which is more acceptable. So, we make decision to eat KFC, although I am prefer Kenny Rogers more. Again, I choose to eat Zinger burger combo which I just ate few days ago. I swear that I won't eat again for at least 6 months because I am really "muak" with it and it is really too full. I don't want to put on extra weight. I can feel that I have gain weight after I come here.

Ahaha, back to I-City...It's 15 minute to 6pm, so we quickly head toward the counter to buy ticket for entering the Snowalk. It cost RM25 for an adult and RM15 for children. It would be more expensive after 6pm which cost RM35 for an adult. Lukily I have do some homework before we went today. A sweater is included with the enterance fee. I was given a red color sweater. Then, I have to spend RM10 more for renting a boot as I didn't wear sport shoes. It would be very slippery inside, so wearing sandals would be very dangerous. I get a green color boots. Oh, not forget to tell handbag is allowed to bring inside but is quite inconvenience. So, I decided to put my things in the locker which being charge for RM2. Now, we are ready for entering the -5 °C room to experience the coldness. Yeah! Let's go!
